Tavern mini-games

How about adding mini-games?

In taverns you could add multi player card games, such as poker or hearts, etc where players could wager their gold.
You could have a sign in the tavern with the weekly top 10 players of each game type.

More games...

Cups (3 cups and ball)
Darts (like the real game, could also use arrows)
Puzzle games, etc...

While waiting for PUGs or Raids to fill up, this would be a great time filler and encourage more social interaction among players.

If they'd add a card game, I'd vote for three dragon ante.

True but those aren't really fun to play, I think what sultanica is trying to ask for is more of a game that you become involved with. For example you join the game and it changes you screen to the table with the cards on it so you feel like your character playing the game instead of just looking as a text screen.

If they were implemented correctly, I would love to see something like this in the game. Would be a fun distraction from running around and trying to kill everything.

I agree, this could be a fun addition to the game. Maybe a way to wager some gold or win some random expendables.

everything to a yes except the darts,I believe that they would be the usual line-up flash dart games, which are quite boring and annoying, also, how bout multi-player poker/black jack/etc.?

I'm all for this idea, even more so if they can be themed to DDO, and multiple people can play a single game (with ai filling spots that aren't or something).

I forget if DDO has any physics based abilities, but that could add a whole new range of mini-games.

Heck, there would be the pvp people are saying they want.
