Different Blue Dragonscale?

Hey guys, sorry if this is in the wrong section. I have just gotten the blue dragonscale docent for my wf wizard and I noticed that it doesn't look anywhere near as good as others i have seen running around. Like, mine is light blue and has a sash and shoulder pads(kinda stupid) and most I have seen are dark blue and just scales, no sash or pads which looks much much better. Now I am thinking that it has to do with the color option that you chose for WF at character creation where when toggled it shows your toon with armor details or not. If I was to lesser reincarnate and change that, would my armor change to how i want it or am i stuck with this crappy looking docent? Or is this not even the case? Thanks for any insight to the matter guys.

You get different docent graphics depending on if you have no armor feat or the mithril/adamantine armor feat.

Docents will look different on wf based on their body armor.

composite (default)
mithral
adamantine.

The body type must be purchased with the level 1 feat.

Oh i didn't even think of that, thanks guys! So if i was to lesser reincarn and take the mithril feat for my lvl 1 feat, it would change the graphic?

Yes, but there is an increased arcane spell failure chance with the body feats, 15% for Mithral and 35% for Adamantine, so something to consider.

be interested in screenies on how the armor looks on a WF with each type of plating (default, adm & mith)

Ok well im pretty sure I'm going to lesser reincarnate and take the mithril feat, I don know about the spell failure which I'll have to think about before making any decisions as I would hate to come up short on a feat at end game and have to swap back. you dont have to lesser rencarnate thow, you can just go in and to a feat change or 2. Save some RL $$$

See, i was going to ask that but someone above said that it had to be your 1st feat, so would a feat swap work? Would i have to swap the 1st feat i picked for it to work? Or would any of them work? Thanks again guys.
