What were your most memorable computer RPGs? (non-mmo)

BG I & II!

BGI- Minsc! No matter what Party I made, I ALWAYS took Minsc (and Boo w/ me), And I put him in charge of the Party (and then someone else and then Minsc again....) as often as possible.

BGII The concept of Rav'n (not only my Main on DDO, but my LARPing character) came from BGII. After running with Haer D'Liss one time, I created a Bard named Rav'n so that Haer D'Liss would talk to me during the game (He referred to the protagonist as "My Raven" ) Ok... if that doesn't qualify me as a geek.... I/m not sure what will...

Played some on the NES that I loved like FF1, Dragon Warrior 1 (when it was free with a subscription to nintendo power )

But, for the PC the first PC rpg that got me hooked was Ultima 6, then Ulitma 7 the black gate....It was crazy that this game took 7, 3.5 inch floppies to install...this game was huge!

Diablo 1 and 2

Played DnD PnP when I was younger (In addition to Rifts), but first DnD themed RPG that got me was baldur's gate 1. Then 2, Icewind Dale, NWN 1 and 2.....

Baldur's Gate also got me reading all the RA Salvatore Books...

I know this one's a MUDD and the OP asked for no other online games etc, but played DragonRealms (Text based online MUDD with limited graphical interface) for about 2 years in the late 90's....

Both of the Dark Sun titles: Shattered Lands and Wake of the Ravager!

I also loved Baldur's Gate II, but I mean come on, at the end of Ravager you fight the Tarrasque!
