Default Point me to a good ranger(tempest)/rogue build

I'm starting a new character, and I made a dwarf barbarian, but am finding him kind of dull, so I'm thinking of going with something with a bit more flair.

And looks like tempest ranger with rogue levels might suit me quite well. Since my other characters (see my sig) are all basically straight casters, I'm not that familiar with good builds for such a character, and as such, am looking for someone to point me in the direction of some really good builds along these lines.

Preferably looking for TWF, lots of spring-attacky goodness so I can bounce around everywhere. High DPS, and some trapfinding would be a nice bonus.

Limitations: I don't own monk, WF or Favored Soul, but do have access to Drow.

    Thanks

Have a look at tihocan's take on the tempest path from the new player's section:

Depending on the wealth you have accumulated with you cleric, choosing human and slashing with khopeshes has a good twinking potential. Anyway, also other slashing weapons are nice, even if you don't have the khopeshes yet.

18/1/1 splits are in general quite versatile, self-sufficient and capable of good dps.

I agree with this....this is the way i went and I've greatly enjoyed my character....
With a haste boost attack you get from enhancements and taking OTWF and wielding dual kopesh's you do a ton of damage and can sometimes save a party by crashing a mob and taking them by surprise. It's actually insane what you can do DPS wise. I wouldn't advise running off w/o the party after a mob but with a proper fighting style you can really rack up the kills (not the most important thing but when you have a bragging dwarf barbarian in front of you, it's nice to show him up sometimes hehe )

Note: TWF and kopesh's do the best damage by making sure you take the Tempest Prestige enhancements Tempest I at lvl 6 II at 12 and III at 18

Ok, so basically you can go 18/1/1, (receive Tempest 3) and dual wield dwarven axes.

Build the exploiter build, only replace monk with fighter for an extra toughness feat. drop your defense ability of the exploiter at that point and focus more on dps and hps, so toughness, power attack, improved crit, ect ect
