    Default Warforged Exploit Rogue1/Ranger19

    Updated with corrections 20100613

I wanted to do something with a Warforged, but on the exploit side that would do good in the shroud. I put the first lvl in Rogue, one lvl monk (at lvl 13), and the rest in Ranger. I focused on UMD (2 clicks), open lock (1 click), Disable device (2 clicks), and search (1 click). My worries are how would update 5 affect this build? Also added Healer's Friend to help the healer if needed.

1.) You took the power attack enhancements but did not take the feat.
2.) No improved critical will severely limit your DPS until you get MinIIs, and you'll be limited to those weapons, or reduced damage output.
3.) You don't need to invest so much into Wisdom, you can use an item to qualify. Start at 8, Use a +6 to get all your spells.
4.) Mithral body will cap your Dex bonus to AC. Better to just drop it. Your AC won't matter with it anyways.
5.) Inscribed armor? You have no arcane spells to fail. Drop that line.

what do you get out of the 19th level of ranger? there isn't anything special at that level.

You can take 1 monk or 1 fighter for an extra feat and just be an 18th level ranger. The only reason to be lawful good is if you are splashing paladin or monk--unless you have true law and pure good weapons stashed.

this is just a guess, but maybe he is leaving out the monk level because he doesn't have monk unlocked.

if that's the case, do what he said. go 18/1/1 ranger/rogue/fighter

I agree w/ what has been stated. 19Ranger gives nothing. Maybe take a level either as Monk (for feat and AC), Fighter (feat), or even rogue (sneak att damage). That's my 2cents.
Cannith. Loot. Shaolo (20) - Nicodemuss (TR) - Anathos (TR) - Shaoloalint (TR) - Melowdie (20) - Nicoheals (TR) and a bunch of others.

rogues don't get any more sneak attack damage at level 2.

he wouldn't get mush out of a second level of rogue. he already has evasion with his ranger levels, and he wont be hurting for skill points ether.

My bad. Don't know why I thought that. Ignore my rogue suggestion.

ok updated the first post above. I took out inscribed (I thought ranger spells would be affected) and added favored defense. Made Wis 8 and added to Int. Also mithral body was removed and power attack added. I kept Khopesh, really don't find anywhere the suggested weapon for WF... left in OTWF instead of combat expertise.

Also note: added monk at lvl 13

Question is which is preferred OTWF or combat expertise?

Definitelt OTWF for dual khops or anything non-light in off-hand. CE is useful only for AC builds and builds that use/require the feats it opens up like improved feint. Int requirements mean not every melee build will spare into this, and last but not least it cannot be active alongside power attack, if you use that as well.

Ok, good to know. When added from wis to int noticed hp jump from 308 to 330. Would like know why being a noob don't know enough to understand why. Decided on khops because find more slashing items than piercing . so Decided to take improved slashing and added khops as a second note. Thought of piercing instead of khops but figured try this direction even though khops are expensive. Its not my first build, so can support it, hopefully. Will roll him tonight. Crossing fingers..... Good rapiers are not any cheaper than good khopeshes, on that note. The only reason anyone should really be using piercing over slashing is if you are a) drow w/ enhancements b) rogue-based w/o spare feats for proficiency c) finesse.

First build is a Drow Paladin DPS (from Junts sample build) on lvl 10. And you're right rapiers are hard to find or very expensive on AH. I pay out more for damage than it seems I can spend.
