    Default 14 Barbarian / 6 Rogue ?

I'm going to TR my rogue when Half-orcs are released (assuming they don't have any hideous animations, like the halfling run has been these past 4 years... and I've plenty of time to get to 20 and get the gear I need) and I was thinking...
Half-orcs are likely to have some barbarian boosting or synergizing enhancements.

So, in general, would this level split be decent enough (specific stats are not my worry at this point in time), and how would it compare to Pure Rogue and Pure Barbarian?
My initial assumption says yes, it would be fine, but I've not much barbarian experience, so I'm asking the forum.

Check the barb section, but from what I've read, if you don't get to 18 barb levels for FB III, don't go at all.

18 barb, 2 rogue is a popular build.

Dunno about update 5 and all, but that's my $.02

What he said, you'll lose a critical multiplier, youll lose hps, 4d6 vicious damage and tireless rage. (you keep all of this with an 18/2)

with the 6 rogue levels you'll gain (IMO 2 levels > 6) evasion, some trap sense 2 tiers, 3d6 granted sneak,
option for additional +6 damage +2 attack(sneaky) and a first tier pre, 10% threat reduction, 20% haste boost, side note you will lose 2 bab so you have to take the sa accuracy to hit just to even out.

to elaborate further on what you were also asking Symar

my 20 barb was good I put no effort into him and he hit like a truck, my 19/1 rogue monk halfling was maxxed sa also hit like a truck but a different kind of one like a semi compared to a dodge viper truck( man those are sweet). However rogue PRE i found to be a bit high priced and to obtain +20 to sa damage plus 40% threat reduction and haste boost 4 rogue and all the other enhancements I had no PRE. I am also pondering how an elf 19/1 rogue fighter assassin with falchion would measure up come u5

And to slightly derail its really not fair that all classes dont currently have 3 PRE's... Every barb has to be frenzy....

This is true. If we had Occult Slayer or... whatever the other one is going to be, this might be a more viable option.

Well, I"ve plenty of time. Maybe they'll release another Barbarian one in U 6 or 7.
