Thumbs down Hardware Texture Compression Support

I just downloaded DnD today, and had no problems with the installation. When I go to open the game, however, it says "Cannot detect Hardware Texture Compression Support." I believe it was error 129. Can anyone guide me how to enable it?
I'm not sure if I should link the DxDiag of my system though.
    Thanks

I am getting the same thing, but I am trying to run DOD under Linux.

Good luck. If it works for you please let me know.
