Default One Time Quest Chain End Reward Question

I just ran the sentinels chain and when I talk to Taggart for the ONE time chain reward -

I don't have the Blademark Docent as a choice.

If I Abandon the quest - will I be able to rerun and possibly get a different choice of end rewards?

[I posted this question in the thread I started discussing docents but wasn't sure if anyone would check that thread again]

    Thanks!

I don't believe you can abandon a quest if you are on the phase for an end reward, just for this reason.

The items do drop in The Tide Turns, and the chain flags you to repeat that quest by itself.

If you have another character to run the chain there is a decent chance to see the docent drop in either the quest or the reward list. On a higher difficulty, you get multiple item dropping chest and since they aren't bound, it's really not hard to get the items.

The sigils are bound to account and again, it's easy enough to run the chain with another character to get a pick from the chain reward. Probably the easiest item and upgrade grind going so all is not lost

Guess I was thinking it would be a sure thing at the end reward so I didn't have to repeat multiple times.... so binds on acquire = bound to account ?

The nonupgraded items are not bound.
The upgraded are bound to account.
The epic are bound to character.

So maybe best to save the end reward for a sigil.

If you have Veteran status available to create new 4th level characters, and you have a high level character and friends with high level characters, then you can just drag your friends' newly created alts through the quest series in your backpack and ask them to return the favor for you.

Feel free to delete your newly created characters after this to lather, rinse and repeat. The quests don't take very long at all with someone of higher level along to do the heavy lifting.

Thanks for the tips. I did run a friends lowbie through and he got me the goat sigal and the docent as end reward. I had a lion and took my delayed end reward of a dragon sigal. Worked out great.

Tide Turns is also, supposedly, getting a special reward list every 3rd completion. I assume that means the same or similar to the one-shot reward list.

I haven't noticed this to be the case. Maybe I'm just unlucky?

It's in the notes for U5. So it's not on Live yet. Hence the future tense in my post.

No, I haven't run those on Lama in a while. And I obviously missed the future tense.
