Yeah well when you see people in game that are about as literate as the OP, and clerics that have this kind of mentality thinking they are all that and everyone else is a "loser tool" no matter how badly they themselves play, no matter how long they have been strung out on drugs here, and have longstanding guilds with the same kind of personality and dismeanor as these people...I begin to think this thread not as a joke but rather a stark reality.

My area uses it in reference to the dirty laundry basket.

Aether was one of my first when I started here...and was always in wind stance, havent used a tome on her. Wind stance drops Con by 2.

Kreecha is a rogue who took barbarian to up his CON and HP and isn't geared properly for his level. His con was maxxed at creation I believe, maybe it was 14. But with a Greater False life item and a CON 6 item you wouldn't have anything to say...yeah really.

I think that this thread is highly amusing.

Ghoul, what you have to realize is that Bart was joking and trying to incite drama and have a good laugh. He succeeded in the laughing without you but you brought the Drama. Dr.Who Fan from my knowledge of her on the forums does not make simply nannybot clerics like you seem to naively think. It is called an offensive casting cleric. You know, one of the strongest builds in the game . Do you know how much a maximized, empowered, superior potency BB does in dmg? It is not a waste of mana it saves mana as the time enemies live is shorter= less dmg to party members. Also there are other cleric offensive spells. Saying that people are basically gimped and boring for not having a battle cleric is sad. Offensive casting clerics are strong builds, very strong. They solo raids, end-game content on elite, and can solo heal raids. They can do all of that and still have high spell points to spare endgame. Clerics do not need other party members for most quests past 11-12. You are not helping yourself by not reading and understanding other peoples posts. Yes it was harsh of that one person to call you a moron, but that is over and done with. Also acting like you are better then some of the most helpful vets on the forums (you are implying that though not outright saying) does not help your situation. Furthermore saying that you have knowledge of endgame clerics and your highest lvl character at lvl 16 is simply silly.

Btw do not show a lack of resolve. When you say you are done with a thread do no post in it anymore. It will show that at the very least you are strong enough to resist going into a thread you have had enough with. Currently any post you make on this thread is just going to lower you in others eyes more.

Oh and a build tip: Never have a character at 10 Con as a starting stat (even if an elf, who should at the very, very least have 12). Also definitely do not have a char at lvl 14 still at starting con, boost it via items. Finally taking one cleric level will not help you on the long run cause once your umd (assuming you still have some) passes the point where it overcomes the percent that the cleric level lets you cast the item it takes over no stacking. So no raise dead scrolls or heal scrolls if you ignore umd (so you can use some wands... ok, your point?) and if you have umd you just wasted a level by taking cleric lvl when you could have taken a class that was more beneficial to your build. I am new but please don't try to be an insta-vet, all us newbies are learning here . Oh and people feel free to correct me on some points if I am wrong .

There is a difference between stupidity and ignorance. If he has never played in the roll of a healer, then he is ignorant of the roll and the nuances.

I can think of a person who utilized a single wizard in his build to help utilize UMD and became very popular here so the point is moot. Aether began with a con of 12..wind stance dropped it down. Also notice neither she nor Kreecha have great stat building, hp increasing items as yet.

One level of cleric does help with UMD especially when you multi class and can't maxx everything. Aether is a trapmonkey to the point of taking a feat for it. Her whole purpose was to hit epic traps. Now I can turn her into a Ninja Acrobat being able to use her dragonmark for displacement on top if I decided to play her again. Like I said she was an early character.

...i never said i hate clerics..... i said i hate playing them........ btw 4 out of 5 clerics that play with my toons get a rather nice donation, thats how much i respect class. now rogues/bards....totally different story. saving that warhead for later....
