I don't normally use shield bash much nor do I pay much too much attention to Guard effects.

I noted something interesting the other day when messing around with my new Fighter toon and Shield Bashing. I had one of those Shields with a Lesser Acid Guard enchantment on it. I decided to see if the Acid damage effect would trigger when Shield Bashing. It does not. Only when I am attacked and hit does it trigger.

Is that right? If so, ....................... do I really need to state the obvious by suggesting these Shield Guard effects also trigger when shield bashing. It will give a little added help to S&B toons.

This of course assumes I am correct in my statement.
