    Default DDO on Mac

    hey

I have just installed Lord of the Rings online (Same company) on my mac using crossover and a pylotro which is a python based launcher used to access the servers because the .net launcher doesnt work. I was wondering if there was such a launcher or anything for mac as this would be great not only for me but also many other people who would like to play ddo but unfortunatly dont have a pc (i do but i dont always have it with me)

You can do it the same way with DDO.

Install DDO files to a crossover bottle + Pylotro to crossover bottle just like you did for LoTRO

In the PyLOTRO program, change the game to DDO. Patch, log in, voila!

Thanks for this info! How does it run on the OSX side?

I have a MacPro and just use my XP partition to play DDO; there the performance is fine, but the fan noise is excessive. So I tried running it through Parallels, but the frame rates tanked. I'm trying to get the best of both worlds, so I hope this does the trick.

Do your computer's fans go nuts when you load the game? Mine do and I have know idea why.
