    True about crits.
I built a pure rogue back then, planning to make her a mechanic II and then retraining her to assassin III, when assassin II was deemed less than desirable, and a "midway" exploiter drow, that I might retrain to rog2/ranger12/monk6.
They could both benefit from new features in U5.

On the other hand, I might have trouble with my current play-style regarding new sneak mechanics.
I can't shift from foe to foe while keeping stealth under U5.
Incidentally, I guess this also means a ninja spy couldn't build Ki while staying stealthy AND dealing damage in fire stance.
Which is maybe an issue they tried to address by "fixing" stealth.

    ...

On a related note: I am hoping they'll add new cloth armour that works with the "shadow monk" theme.

Had a feat swap today for radiant servant on my rogue/cleric, also bought a repeater as she's a mechanic.
Character will still remanin mostly twf though.

My aa won't change at all.

Considering the pet boost feat on my warchanter.

I'm mostly concerned about my low to mid level TWF-ers, particularly ones that don't have ITWF yet (ie, rogues levels 8 and below, etc). The off hand procs are at a lousy 40% with only TWF, which is an enormous decrease in DPS. Yeah, TWF was never all that great at lower levels, but it didn't completely suck. It definitely does now.

I don't know what to think about the lack of respecs. It sure does seem kinda shady that this is happening when new hearts of wood are coming out, but at the same time I don't usually buy into tinfoil hat stuff like that. I do think that if the devs are bound and determined to implement this offhand proc nonsense that they could smooth things over a lot by offering free respecs, though.

I'm going to wait to see how bad it is when the update goes live, if it is as bad as the doomsayers are claiming then I'm done with this game. I'll cancel my VIP, figure out what to spend my 7k points on and just uninstall. I've played games for a lot longer than I've been playing DDO and I was able to walk away with no problems. It's a game, and if the game is no longer what I'm looking for then it's time to find one that is.

My characters will not be affected in the slightest. My cleric is getting some PRE's that I won't use and there are no changes to bard. However, the new Dice notation and their measly attempt at pleasing the Vet's by placing 'D&D Dice:' at the bottom is insulting.
