Well, really, he has nobody to blame but himself (well his girlfriend a little, for being too vindictive). This is why I don't sit around and play instead of spending time with the gal when she is around. If she's asleep, working, or out of the house for some reason, I play. If she's here, 99% of the time I am offline doing stuff with her.

She still feels that I play too much, though. Heh.

I tried. It annoyed her that she couldn't shoot people in the ankle in public instances.

Man I loved the look on his face, priceless. Next time pay more attention to the lady in your life nooblet. Man he would have died when I did that to all my own characters, deleted all my gear then my characters and I never once regreted it, love it here too much.

    that this was staged.

However that being said. Not paying attention to a girlfriend or guyfriend is not a valid reason for what she did. I don't care what you think. If you don't like being second fiddle to a game leave. Don't try to manipulate a guy into what You think a boyfreind should be. God I hate women who thing of guys as just some sort of project to change to their will. If she was my girl she would be for long.

Still I get the feeling it was staged.

There's no reason to freak out, because WoW will restore characters/items, even if it is a result of user error or accidental deletion

Hypothetically, if a girlfriend did something disrespectful like that to me or to my property, I wouldn't get mad. I'd get even. I'd likely pretend not to be bothered, and then shave her head while she sleeps. Give her a nice big bald streak right across the whole head before she wakes up and mounts a defense. Afterward, I'd throw her out and change the keys, because I wouldn't be able to trust her. She might go all bobbit on me or destroy more of my property.

If her boyfriend had several lvl 80 characters it is not unbelievable to think she would have seen more than 5 minutes of him playing during that time to figure it out .

I speak from experience when I say... I feel for the guy (up to the point of totally demolishing his computer).

About 3 months ago, I was on the road working ( commercial truck driver ) I came home to log on for a little bit and found all my characters were gone on the "G" server.

A month later I found out it was my ex-wife (who has friends in odd places) had gotten a hold of my account and did the deed.

Oh well I started all new ones and went my merry way on to playing anyway.. as my current G/F says "they're just characters in a fictional setting, not like me or your daughter who would be completely irreplaceable in a situation such as this"

I have since changed my passwords and email associated to my account and NOONE has access to them.

    Game on ppl...game on

Yeah, i know it was staged, but i'm having a hypothetical conversation here more or less. Almost everything on that site is staged.

It is probably staged, but if it isn't, it just means she isn't much of a woman. What woman can't drag her man way from raiding? If she was any kind of woman at all mid raid his character sould suddenly start running into walls and that would be the last you heard of him for the night (or the next 30 seconds for some guys)
