    So, the old "if I'm going to stare all day at some polygonal bottom, it better be a nice one, either that or you're h0m0" argument.

    ...

    Personally, I dislike how WFs look.
    I find them way too tall and unappealing.
    Horcs to me look grotesque, proportions-wise.

    I tend to gravitate towards elves because they feel closer to the height I see world from.
    Yes, I am gifted with vertical paucity; I more than make up for that with number of words per second.

    I would like to see more variety in models.
    Sometimes I feel humans look too buff and elves too slim for their class and stats.
    Human women look gangly - and the pose in selection screen feels a bit awkward.

    Overall I like how older models look in DDO - I used to say, if NWN2 had DDO's models, it would have been a winner.
    I really dislike helves, though - I am getting kind of used to seeing them around, and they are nowhere as plentiful as horcs, but I still say they could use some extensive graphical revamp.

    ...

    What do I play?
    A bunch of different race/genders - from human females to elven males, including a couple of WFs and dwarven males.
    I haven't created a dwarven female yet, though.
    While I don't think they look ugly - seriously, do YOU guys look that attractive in RL...? - to me dwarves have always been males.

    Do I stare to my chars' bottom all day?
    Gods, no, I have other things needing my attention, every now and then!

    Let's make it a quadfecta and make it a Ninja/Pirate/Zombie/Robot.

    Kind of makes me sad I'm probably gonna be one of the few to catch that reference... Sigh.

    meh i dont even care about my charactors looks but a lot of people seem to go for the emo elf girl look, seems to be the only reason why this race is played in any significate numbers, And yes some of my in game friends are among this number.

    Your squishy and your dps sucks!!! that halfling, or that half orc, human, warforged, half elf or even that dwarf could do it better than you!!! but but........... im pretty!!! and witty and wise!!!

    I like elves, I play a male elf but they look like sticks, seems weird that someone with 24 str and 14 con would look like a strong breeze would blow him over, ok not so strong.

    Half-Orcs/Half-elves : they look grottesque 1/5
    Human :Average, Nothing impressiv 2/5
    Dwarves : would have expected smthg closer to fantasy & to Tolkien's dwarves (dwarven females ==> forget about it) 2/5
    Warforged : creative race, they reflect coolness, awesomeness & power, when i see a WF, i can't help but think the player behind the keyboard is experienced 4/5
    Elves/Drows : Love their look, a bit too squishy though, but they are fun to play and there's no way you can get bored watching their ..... 5/5
    Halflings : toooo cute for their own good 4/5

    Well, since I'm in a mood for a list, I'll add mine too.

    I tend to discriminate textures vs models vs animations - facial textures are quite important in conveying a char's personality and uniqueness, but you usually watch your char's back, so models and animations carry a big importance too here.

    * Dwarves - 4/5

    Facial models/textures are generally good - I'd like more variety with beards/hair, maybe from horcs.
    Ladies could be given minor facial revamp so they look a bit finer.
    Body models are good - animation convey a sense of muscular prowess.
    Walking/sneaking gait looks a bit... awkward.

    * Elves - 4/5

    Facial textures are generally good too - I'd tweak models for more variety.
    Body and animations are nice; maybe I'd give an option for bulkier bodies and mightier animations for males.

    * Halflings - 4/5

    Facial models/textures are ok - I'd like more variety with ladies.
    Some of us are irked about the tweak in animation.
    Some are relieved by it.
    Many agree it could use more polish.
    IMHO halfling bodies could be reused as alternate models for slimmer characters.

    * Helves - 1/5

    Facial textures look in my most humble opinion... off.
    Lifted from a different game would be the polite way to put it.
    Models are... wait, why did they reuse human bodies anyway?
    I'm slowly thawing to female helves - as long as they have LONG hair to cover their faces...
    I'd happily provide MORE samples to devs as to how to make helves look more... helvish.

    * Horcs - 2/5

    Textures look consistent, maybe a bit lower quality compared to existing texts.
    Scars/Marks look off.
    Models are, IMHO, unattractive: too large, too cartoony, too rushed.
    It feels like they were in a hurry to deliver by PAX, tweaked dwarves, and called it a day.

    * Humans - 3/5

    Facial textures/models are ok - decent variety, but I often end up using the same.
    Ladies for some reason tend to look cruder than gents, maybe artists made a conscious effort to make elves shine in comparison.
    Body models/animations look a bit off - human dual wielding animation looks a bit awkward; I end up creating female dual wielders just because I don't like how the style looks on males...
    Standing animation for ladies, especially in selection screen, is very unattractive; there is something gangly and awkward about human ladies.

    * Warforged - 2/5

    Facial textures are ok - some manage to convey the sense of something truly alien and inhuman.
    Bodies I don't quite like: too tall, too large, too obscuring.
    Please give me the option to choose a smaller, slimmer body.
    A warforged built for stealth and recon shouldn't share the same body model as a front line warrior...
    On a more general note: please allow us to pick different body models/animations, so they fit with the role we'd like to play.

    ...

    Ok, writing mood over...

    I am 6'2, weigh 270lbs. and play center for a semi pro football team. You'll find my pictures in your family album; I'm the guy in the trenchcoat behind the bushes. Cheers!

    Also if anyone is in the KC area come support the Missouri Mustangs. Coach says I have to say that.

    See, we get super hot female characters, but why do all the males have to be fugly?! Literally, there is not one update I'd rather see than the one that lets me make pretty male characters.
