Augment Summing + Create Undead

First off; does AS effect undead created by the Create Undead spell?
Second; does it create super powered undead that save at first try only to beat you down with their super powered selves?

They mentioned in the release notes (I think it was there) that augment summon only applies to things still under your control, so the undead would loose the bonuses once they broke control, same goes for charmed/dominated things.

I can confirm that it both effects create undead creatures, and disappears when they save.
