Returning player TR questions

I just read the faq and now im more confused.

I have a gimped toon (18 fighter 2 Rogue) is it possible to tr to all rogue? or am i limited to the levels that I already selected? Can someone explain the change limit.

I would like to redo this character and keep some of the gs weapons that i made.

A True Reincarnation (TR) starts brings you to the character creation screen and you start over as if you were creating a new character, except the new character cannot change its alignment, name, or sex, and starts with one or more past life feats and 34 or 36 build points.

If you want to just turn your 18/2 rogue/fighter into a 20 rogue, you could just use a +3 lesser heart of wood. This would allow you to retrain as a pure rogue.

Uhhh...huh? The only thing you can't change is your name, for a True Reincarnation. As for using +3 woods to lesser reincarnate to a pure rogue...well, it's possible. That's 6 woods though, so it'll take a while and cost plenty.

LR and GR are both quicker than TR (you can say "easier") as they just have you "retrain" your 2 fighter levels and you stay a lvl 20 character.

A GR can turn a 28-pt build non-drow into a 32-pt build character of the same race (if you have access to 32-pt builds on that server). But to get to 34 pts (30 if drow) you need to TR.

And I confirm that you can change alignment and sex when you TR (but you HAVE to keep your name).
