My grandfather, rest his soul, was 6'-8". When I was a little kid he would pick me up and put me on the ceiling.

    I felt small.

Now I am 6'-3". I make my wife feel small.

OP great images. Amazing comparisons and hard to fully comprehend the scale and depth of what is beyond Earth.

Heresy, the universe revolves around the Earth. That's how it's been for thousands of years and that's how it's going to stay.

I feel small simply looking at the night sky. But it's always nice to feel smaller. I find an amazing amount of peace in these levels of obscurity. At some point, in the not too dim future (scale?) someone will be looking at little pieces of us through a telescope. Floating in sweet obscurity in the brightness of some distant, aptly named star.
