Installing errors galore, help!

I just successfully installed the game on my computer with no issues and am now installing it on my GF's comp which runs 64-bit vista. Downloading went fine as did most of the installation process until the game has to "register with windows games explorer." It sticks me in an infinite loop of trying to run regsvr32.exe with Firefox or IE, which after I run or save the file just causes it to try to run again with IE or FF. I finally get an error that says something about patchwrapper2.dll(only got this error once, don't remember the exact wording). Now with the game installed(partially or corrupt I assume) all the .exe files associated with the game(turbinelauncher, dndlauncher, turbineinvoker, etc.) are coming up as "application not found." I have went through all the forums as well as the knowledge base and haven't found anything remotely useful for fixing these problems, tried reinstalling, restarting running everything as admin, nothing has worked...please help!

I am in the exact same boat... with the addition of it presenting the regsvr error message that PatchWrapper2ps.dll failed, UPON DOWNLOAD COMPLETION. Just like Hanma, all applications in my folder are coming up with the same problem of "Application not found"

I thought it important to note that the full installation of DDO Unlimited DID NOT place any kind of shortcut on the desktop (or an option for one) and that going into the program files under C: leads you to the "d&d launcher", which prompts me that "TurbineInvoker.exe cannot be found" which is just below it. Trying to run invoker prompts me with "TurbineLauncher.exe cannot be found" which too, is just below it. Trying to run launcher prompts me with the following;

Try checking out http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php...11#post3021411 None of these have worked for me yet(I am reformatting her computer, I am guessing windows registry files were corrupt) but they might for you.

Thanks Hanma... didnt save me, looks like the reform is the way to go...
