    Thanks also for you suggestions. I totally agree that a level 19 quest shouldn't offer 50 renown as a quest reward.
    What about mobs that do not drop bags at all or have a low drop rate?

    I ran Genisis Point on casual (killing anything I met) and got no bags at all (and so no renown).

    The same lvl 19 then ran Kobold Assault on hard and got 150 (3 x 50) renown .
    Jesus saves but only Buddha makes incremental backups.
