    Cool premium accounts

    Hi there,
I've been trying to make my subscription active again. Thinking of the 3 month payment plan for the time being.
Then perhaps the 6 months or 12 even, but I want to know what the difference between the premium accounts & the free ones. I was also hoping to figure out how, or even IF I should use the D&DO Store.

Some confusion in terms you have there. Premium is a free account:

F2P = Free, never paid, never VIP.
Premium = Prior Subbed account, or have bought TPs. But still playing for Free.
VIP = Currently actively Subbed account.

Now first off, you say "active again". You've been subscribed on your account at some point? Then you're already Premium.

As for the differences... *rummages off looking for a link* Just a sec....

    Hi,

Premium is available once you purchase (with cool, hard cash) Turbine Points. It unlocks 4 character slots on each server, versus 2 for F2P. Premium members are allowed to post on forums, have multiple auctions going on the auction house at once, and receive in-game support. You must purchase each game pack that you want as F2P, though--Shan-to-Kor, Gianthold, etc. F2P only allows you access to forum support, 1 auction at a time, and you must buy packs/account options (32 point, warforged, etc.) through using accumulated Turbine Points, which may be unlocked via favor rewards--first 5, 25, 50, 100 and each 100 favor total on each new server thereafter. You also get Turbine Points at each 100 mark of favor on each character. I'd recommend trying out the F2P first, unless you have cash to burn, and see how far you can get--the adventures kinda taper off at about level 9 or so. But you may, without limitation, level your character all the way up to 20 now that they've done away with the wonderful leveling sigils, as free-to-play.

Edit--As Premium, you still have to purchase each adventure pack/account option you want. Just pay-as-you-play, buying each option as you want it. Note--using favor-earned Turbine Points does NOT unlock Premium. You must actually spend some money on TP before Premium is available.
