    Post Build Input..?

    Hi guys!
..Basically, I have a Barbarian, and I want to MULTI into a Wizard.
I want him to Dual Wield. I appreciate this might not be 'best' but, its how I want my Char to be?
Any guidance? I'd also rather have more passive/useful feats and enhancements, so stats and skills +?
Uhhh, I got the 32pt Build. My main idea was 14 in STR, DEX, CON and INT. 12 in WIS and CHA.
I'm trying for no minuses on the Abilities.
So, I've thrown it out there... Input guys?

You're gonna get a LOT of grief over this build if you do build it. You do know that you can't cast spells while raged--right?
Elaborate a little more on what you want the overall concept to be. It's gonna be extremely hard to make an effective caster that can TWF FYI.

Ultimately Barbs don't make great classes to splash with spell casting classes because, as previously mentioned, rage prevents spell casting. Here, the other major problem is that int is pretty much a barb dump stat because, skill points aside, it doesn't really get anything from a high intelligence. Also, the casting classes are not full BAB classes and have low hitpoints per level. Also, if you are wearing armor, you will have arcane failure when casting spells. I don't want to tell you what character you should make. However, if you are looking for melee and spell casting, I'd suggest going warforged and splashing wizard/Fighter or Sorc/Pally.

With respect to the skill point allocation, you will need to start at 15 dex to take all of the TWF feats, and that is taking a +2 dex tome at level 7.

The idea is to buff yourself, tensers, rage. Not sure how effective this would be though, only having near 400 hp.

    Question Reply.

Yeah! Thanks guys, these are all good! basically, yeah, the idea is pretty much straight offensive spells, and if I can charge them, and rage if I want/need to?
I was thinking light/medium armour? Then I could feat out the negativity? or, just accept it as part of the build tbh, I appreciate it as part OF the build?
I get not many people would liek this build, and I appreciate anyone who even takes the tiem to consider through it with me, as I'd love to see it finished, one quick other thing, have Half-Elves been announced yet? 'Cause since BG I've always played one, tbh, SO FARRRR thats my only issue with DDO, the lack of 'em
    Thanks, again.

I like that you're trying to think outside the box a bit, but DDO is not the same a pen and paper D&D.

If you are going to splash a fighter melee build into a sorc, you're going to only want to take spells the require no save.

Armor (unless it's mith. twilight) is going to give you spell failure. So, panning on wearing armor is a bad idea.

If you're going to insist on being a melee type of sorc then take a look at the Tukaw build http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php...ighlight=tukaw

As a new player though, I'd STRONGLY suggest that you not attempt a multi class build and play your first toon as a pure class all the way to 20. You'll learn an amazing amount of information along the way. If not you run into the possibility of making a build, spending hours and hours on it only to learn that it won't do what you hoped at higher levels and is now more a burden to a party than a useful asset.
