    Default Lag/game freeze during boss fights

    I have been playing since September last year and have had no issues with the game. Recently I have been experiencing some issues, some of which make me not want to not play. The game occaisionally freezes when zoning. Usually when I try to enter Sands of Menachturun or Necropolis, but some times just trying to zone into a dungeon.

    What is frustrating me the most though is the game stopping during boss fights. Not really a freeze. I can still move my toon around but nothing else moves. I still hear the sound effects of the battle, but nothing is visibly happening. This lasts from a few minutes up to several minutes, then suddenly it all unfreezes. The screen goes crazy updating everything that happened during the delay. Damge numbers flicker by so fast they are unreadable, spell effects galore, etc... and of course the invariable you have died recall button pops up. This is what makes me want to quit. Tired of having to recall, repair, and losing xp because I died and re-entered in a battle I may have won except for this strange lag/glitch or whatever it is.

    I have tried lowering my graphics,tho I did keep DX10 enabled, and seemed to have no effect. This would really anger me if I had to play this way as I never did before and I really don't like the looks of the game with graphics turned down. If it matters I only solo with a hireling.

    Great. So not only is my hireling pretty dumb most of the time, now he causes my game to go crazy!

    Anyway, thanks for the reply. I had just found one of those 2 threads after posting this. Not a lot of help in either though really. Wish they would fix the issue. If it is "hireling lag", I guess it's at least nice to know it's not my computer.
