U5 Sheds Light on the Race after Half-Orc.

In the new quest with the ball you come across some members of House Lyrandar. This is the Half-Elven Dragonmarked House of Storm, I now think it is safe to say Half-Elves will be out within the next year.

That's because after opening my City of Stormreach book, House L, has it's own district in the original Stormreach that is called. House Lyrandar Shipyard. So it is safe to say Half Elves will not only be a new race, but thier presence will also allow Stormreach to gain a new district to explore.

I'd agree...except that the quest give for Xorian Cypher is a Druid....and that quest has been around a very long time.

They are adding Druids next year, yes there are druid NPCs in the game right now, but this is a new development and it has already been stated that there will be more races after Half-Orc that will be introduced before they add the Druid class.

You realize that they've been adding Druids "next year" since the game came out, right? Until it goes live, assume it will never get put into the game. Otherwise, you'll just end up being let down. Half of the "Coming Soon" items in Fernando's state of the game address were the same things listed as "coming in the next year" in the 2007 state of the game address.

If so a lot of people will be terably disapointed, they are not exactly a great race for DDO.

My bet is either Gnomes (The Zill are scary) Or Shifters, who might serve as a test bed for druidic shape shifting.

If the later, I will be rolling a shifter in a heart beat.

Half-elves have also been around long enough to produce half-elf zombies (As seen in the harbor lighthouse quest), so I wouldn't hold my breath
