    Angry Why play lamannia

    What is the point of haveing a riged contes what is the point of saying it is a fair contest when a guild is starting at lev 8 and represent 90% of the server population how r you making it a good game or a good compition when all we do is gring 1 quest over and over and over and.... you get the idea the least you can do is make it fair

    Lamannia is a test server. They are testing things. This would be like getting upset over having baseball practice sessions and letting some players start on base to practice stealing bases while someone is taking BP. Characters, guilds, everything is routinely wiped out there now that they have the Character Transfer utility more or less working.

    Not an issue.

    A little punctuation goes a long way. And don't the forums have a built in spell checker? That squiggly red line under the word isn't added emphasis.

    ... and which Guild started with level 8? One of the bigger ones is probably 'DDO daily' and bigger Guild mean more people to contribute for Guild Points. If you however mean that existing Guilds on the Live server will be pushed to Level 8 right from te Start, then the reason for this is probably that they already can invite new members via a Guild Sigil and you only get this option via Guild Level 5. You can not downgreade existing Guilds in their possibilities.
    * We have collectable bags, mind you, even hireling folders, but can I have that 6-pack for my potions please?
    * Having already a past life on the dieng EU servers, I rerolled here and started from scratch as I like the game and the community, so lets see what awaits me here

    Would you by chance be using Firefox? Because Firefox has it's own built in spell checker with that behavior with the red underlining of words.

    I, personally, play on Lamannia to be able to bring the DDO Community the latest news about various things they might be seeing coming inRotG (Update 5).
    And yes - that also means that the DDO Daily guild is farming their butts off to reach the airship - they have their own reasons for it - and I have mine. And when we started leveling the guild we had no idea that there would be a contest for it. Are we bad people for not disbanding the guild and restarting it when the contest started?

    'What is the point of a rigged Guild contest? How can the contest be fair when one of the Guilds started at level 8 and is comprised of 90% of the server? I don't see how this makes the game any better or can even be considered a contest when it is the same quest over and over. If you want it to be a contest, at least make it fair.'
