Default Looking for a large mature guild...

So there are no large guild recruiting?
Here are my reqs for a guild:
    1. Be large, want to raid (or at least have a few members on regularly that actually like to group together)
    2. Be 18+ (I like to drink beer and or moonshine while playing. This tends to lead toward me saying things that would get me put in jail if said to a minor )
    3. Know that RL > DDO. (I have RL responsibilities and believe that you do to. Sometimes things come up and I have to leave. I don't care even if we are getting ready to attack the largest meanest ugliest boss in DDO...If I gotta go, I don't want anything said to me later about it.)
    4. Have people that want to group up and have fun together. (This is a game after all)
    5. Be without drama. (I game to escape RL drama, not get online and run into more of it)
    6. Not be racial or classist (I like to play several different classes and races, and will not play one race or class exclusively in order to join a large group)

I'm doubting that this guild exists but if is it out there.
Contact me, we'll talk, group up, and go kill something.

#3 is going to be a problem. I don't know of any guild that would be cool with you deciding you need to leave in the middle of Church and Cult before the group tackles the vampire at the end.

That kind of behavior will not win you many friends.

best recommendation I can make OP is note the Guild Tags of people you group with and like. Also look on the Group pannel, and sort by guild to see how many members are on during your play time.

Then make the inquiries to their play style (i.e RL > DDO) and age of members. And of course if they are recruiting.

I know what your looking for is out there

Then they do not have real life responsibilities.

RL > DDO. Always has been, always will be.

You sound like a nice fit for MAC on Khyber. Perhaps you should create an alt there. You can also check out the web site at www.themacguild.com.

If I can't find what I want on Cannith. I might have to do that.

I think what most mature guilds would expect out of you would be that your capable of recognizing that something may take you away from the game and just not play instead of playing and then potentially shafting the group.

If only that were true. My job requires me to be on call 24 / 7.

    Anyway. Still looking.

It sounds like what you're looking for (including number 3, however not including number 2, but everyone has to make some compromises) is very much how we in the Silver Legion (the DDO arm of the multi-game guild, Guild Medieval) operate. Having said that, because of the nature of the guild, we do operate a very strict no foul language policy.

I guess it very much depends what compromises you are willing to make.

LOVE the attitude! RL MUST > DDO. You, my friend would be one of the exceptions to the "all halfling" rule we have ;-) Unfortunately, we are a bit small at the moment, so the raiding thing would be a challenge. Well, not for a solo raid run . Look us up when we manage to get a few more members we'd love to have ya
