    Default Changes to CE - questions

    Hello-

    On the live server, CE goes off when using a clicky (like Divine Power).
    On Lamannia - it stays on when the clicky is used - nice change

    I have CE on my pally and was gald to see that it now will stay on while casting.
    I also have extened on my pally. The spell point useage seem high.

    It seems that the spell points used is --> 2 X (base + extend)
    I was expected it to be --> (base X 2) + extend

    As it stands you are paying for extend twice. I am asuming it will the same with empower, maximize, etc...

    Is this the way it should be or is it bugged?

    I think that is how they want it , because they still don't want CE to be on while casting. While it helps for clickies and other 'spell like effects' that aren't using SP by not knocking it out , they still want to somewhat 'enforce' don't cast while CE is active.

    But that is my humble thought about it hehe.

    Honestly, I used to take CE on a lot of my characters even some of my casters, but the way the game is now, it's just not worth it anymore.....PA FTW......even if they do change AC so it's more useful it will probably still be more fun to DPS.


    But yes, casting an actual known spell now charges double spell points if u do not turn off CE first but leaves CE on, good probably for situational use.

    It actually makes it usable for light monks too. I know this doesn't help the paladins out but this is a huge boon for a light monk that wants to use CE while still firing off their finishers.

    Scrolls and Wands don't use SP, but function like spells so they shouldn't break CE and there will be no SP cost, but I can't truely say for sure because I haven't tested.

    Should stay on for scroll use, if it does for clickies......can't see why it wouldn't.....I'll go check on my bard...just a sec.
