I have seen this twice and would like confirmation if anyone else has seen it.
Someone runs through a trap making it go off and the box explodes making it impossible to disable.
Has anyone else seen this yet?

What dungeon might that happen in?
It was in the new quest series.
Well everything else is nerfeds so that's no surprise.
This is turbines nerf to trap monkeys who don't get invovled in combat.
They think they can just sit back and casually disable the traps for the xp and trap parts?
Not anymore suckers!
I have not seen this in the old quest that I went running through, so I guess it's a bug.
They probably did this on purpose so you can't trigger traps and get free components off them; they want you to actually be in danger of getting trap damage for failing miserably while trying to recover trap parts, not just letting someone set off one-time traps so the damage is no longer dealt, then disabling them.
Bug? I would say that is a "Feature" to prevent zerging.
It would kind of force you to stop and wait for the thing to get disabled, or rush through it and take that hit to XP potential.
Besides, as an intelligent trapsmith, wouldn't you put a bomb on the activator and control module once it had finished its job and was no longer needed? I would of course arm it only after I left the area via a long wire and a trick switch that pulled off and shut the door as I yanked it.
Heh, sucks to be the one who finds that trap!
Was the box before, after, or in the middle of the trap?
Was the box visable?
That will tell you if its a bug and also if you havee to run through or into trap to disable it the control box should never go off without some interaction with it.
If you want call that the future I hope your non-evasion/ impevade build has 700+ HPs because you will always die on Elite.
