    This is a beautiful thing. You can use it to try out different combat effects and see what the effects are or just measure your e-peen against everyone else with actual real-game data.

    I approve of this idea and wish to subscribe to its quarterly newsletter.

    Well, heck, there goes one half of one of my gripes about DDO that we didn't have a practice dummy like we did in AC1 but at least there anyone could run out to Qalabar and attack it (loved it when the Drudges would come attack you for attacking the practice drudge though).

    I can't wait to see the real numbers being tabulated and formulas worked out like we had in AC1.

    Is it just me or was every benefit on the ships temporary and you had to rent them. I dont know I was pretty hyped about guildships till I read this. Hope I missunderstood. How could a ship come without at least one chest you dont have to rent.

    tons of interesting stuff, and each guild can only choose a few of em...

    but you can invite others into your ship, cant you? so one guild could choose some lesser used stuff and sell tickets to use its facilities

    All of that looks pretty well thought out and awesome work by the devs. Has anyone failed to mention that now we can craft (fully) outside of the shroud based on guild rank?

    I'm curious as to what happens to items in these chests when the timer runs out?

    I'm dismayed at how many items are temporary!
    I understood that stuff would be bought but almost everything is temporary.

    Yup interesting to see how much they will cost.
    Probably pretty expensive.

    I'm liking the Xp boost shrines though, i can see this increasing guild activity when they appear.
    Xp boost weekends anyone?

    Guild level 25 = Guild Chest with 20 slots that lasts for 30 days.
    (or you can use do it twice to make it 60 days)

    Love the fact that we finally get Guild group storage, but everything being temp is initially kinda annoying. After thinking about it a bit more, it would just mean that if the guild goes completely inactive, the ship's stuff goes away. Considering my old guild died a hard death back before DDO:EU this makes some sense.

    While the 30 day expiration on the chest isn't bad, especially since you can extend it. The other contracts lasting only 3-7 days is kinda... uhm... ****. imho. That being said, this is just the beginning of a whole new aspect of the game so who knows how it will change in the future. There is a ton of potential here.

    Navigators...

    Grants the ability to hire a navigator for a limited duration on an airship, who will allow transport to any public area for which you have started (or completed) the associated Explorer quest.

    Explorer quests!? This has some serious potential! Is this a ship-based explorer quests or something else? Inquiring minds....

    made me think more of porting to meridia when you've run the vale to unlock it as a teleport destination.

    I'm hoping that you'll also still have to complete Hiding in Plain Sight to get to the Twilight Forge areas as well.
