◦The Golden Wing Inn is having a grand reopening! What used to be the most shoddy tavern in Stormreach is now the most tasteful and trendy. Come have a drink at the Golden Wing!

The owners and management of The Golden Wing thank you for the makeover. Grandma Wynn always called Lamden a moron for opening a bar next to a swamp. The stench is awful and have you ever tried to bounce a drunk ooze? There's nothing to hold on to! Its like trying to grab a naked, greased up fat guy (and about as pleasant)! I'm sure the improvements and swamp draining will increase business for Phiarlan's local dive bar, but, really....


Have you ever been to The Rusty Nail? Now there's a dive bar! Worst in Stormreach by far. Built next to a sewer, no walk in traffic except those wanting to clean up after traipsing through the sewers looking for zombified adventurers or some lousy helm. There are no NPC customers at all (unless you count Brother Kew and Alleria Nightswallow tells me that he's a lush that is drinking them to ruin with his Silver Flame free drinks favor and that he makes lewd comments and insinuations about her family name). C'mon! Every dive bar needs some bar flies. Even the old Golden Wing had one customer and she gave out a quest. You don't even have to make new ones, just transfer some from the more populated bars in town (although a drunk who stumbles around making non-sequitor comments and harasses people might be fun). Jordan Coulter told me that if something isn't done soon, he would probably have to close down. Do you really think that all those stinky sewer rats that use the Rusty Nail as their washroom will be welcome the the Pheonix Tavern? I don't, those guys are a bunch of snobs!

Yes that is what makes it great for guild meetings always lot's of room. I adopted The Rusty Nail when I first started out with a new guild just formed, and the hirelings where right close plus some nice quests near by. With the guild up date coming I suppose it will need something else going for it. A quest perhaps?

I miss having all the Marketplace vendors in the Rusty Nail. They were nice an consolidated, and the Market wasn't so lag-tastic.

Oh I know, I've seen crypts with more action. What was the thinking putting a bar way up there anyway? "Oh, they will be thirsty after passing over the lava pit. Let's put a bar in what amounts to a library!" Last time I was there some pickpocket tried to shank me and push me into the lava. You can have more fun at Maddox Leifson's BBQ.

Awesome makeover devs! Lots of NPC customers, comments relevent to the surroundings, knife throwing women...

I'm sorry to see that Alleria Nightswallow has lost her job though. It seems Jordan Coulter's wife, Maude, believed what Brother Kew was saying about her as it seems Maude has taken over the wenching duties.

Now The Adept's Rest in The Twelve Enclave needs some love. Another empty bar with the employees staring at the wall. I would suggest something along the lines of a cross between an ivy league college pub and a victorian gentleman's study/library complete with smokey atmosphere, musty bookcases, fireplace and leather chairs. And lets have some wizardly looking wizards in there. Everyone in Eberron is young and most are clean shaven. We need some ancient looking guys with white beards down to the floor that look like they are part of the furniture they have been around so long. Lastly, give us a reason to go in there.

As long as they implement a "sit" feature...

This isn't Tibia, we don't need to stand on our benches! And sitting on them with the emote makes you pass through them like a ghost! :P

If we could sit on the benches, taverns everywhere would get much more customers
