    Default Mac using Bootcamp - Microphone Problem

    I am using a Mac (one of the new ones) it runs the game great, except the mac has a built-in microphone and it does not seem to work right.

    I press the "press to talk" key (f) and the bar showing that I am speaking lights up, but the sound volume is extremely low. I tried yelling and someone said that they could barely hear me.

    I tried messing with the sliders in Audio Options (not at game so I don't remember what they are named) nothing seems to change.

    Any Fix?
    Alice laughed: There's no use trying, one can't believe impossible things.
    I daresay you haven't had much practice, said the Queen. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.

    Since it's mac I'm going to be somewhat limited in helping but try going into the "My Documents" or "Documents" > "Dungeons and Dragons Online' folder and look for 'userpreferences.ini'.

    Open it up and in the section for [Voice] try using these settings:

    NetworkLatencyThresh=100
    MicVolume=1.00
    MicCaptureThreshold=0.25
    VoiceVolume=1.00

    Exit out of the prefs file (choose yes when it asks to save changes) and reopen the game. What you want to do then is log into a character so your in the game world (only time the voice chat options show up) and go into Options > Audio and scroll all the way down to the voice section. Make sure the Voice Capture/Voice Playback options are on the right selections.

    You might want to also take a run through the voice chat faq here.
