    thanks Visty, I'm surprised that didn't make the lam release notes (or perhaps was just missed since they are so big ).

    Just for number crunching, 4 extra sneak attack dice would mean +4d6 right? not +4 damage

    Not unless that dice was a d1 I have to assume that they are d6's though as it would make no sense to write a description like that and then have a different dice then the standard sneak attack damage dice used.

    No one knows... if so.. thats going to make a LOT of 20th lvl rogues.

    Hell If I dropped my monk levels with the acrobat changes I would gain 4d6 + 12 S/A damage every hit.

    That's just nuts.

    In the new dumbed down terms that's 16 - 36 pts of damage (hurl) So since my old best was 308 pts with a staff... I could be around 346 pts... noice!!!!

    THat would be my understanding. I think this might give people a reason to go pure rogue, finally.

    nice but i dont know if ill drop my monk lvls

    though more SA dmg means quicker kill= less need for ac?

    Gonna be hard to justify NOT going pure rogue. At least until endgame fortification creeps up enough that sneak damage is almost worthless. U6 sounds about right.

    I wonder if they said dice because they're planning on introducing a feat or ability that increases the die size of sneak attacks. That's probably just wishful thinking though.

    Combine that with getting your Int bonus applied to cross bow damage, Melee taking a 15% dps hit at best, and arcane casters being 90% useless on raids... You can sub title Update 5 as Rise of the Mechanic Rouge

    Yeah, we played on Lammania earlier, my wife on her pure assassin rogue. It was pretty sweet to say the least, and we were not even hasted. The only thing that really sucks is if you were dual weilding different greensteels to get the advantages of both, the offhand is now worthless. Can't effectively do something like a Lit 2 in offhand with a Radiance in main hand, you'll never see a big boom lightning, and if you switch, you'll never blind anything. So now you have to make sure you match weapons, or use an Improved Destruction or something else that is reliable in offhand.

    don't go forgeting your +30 or so damage also
    50 to 140 dps is good just for SA
    This is awesome DPS upscale now if only an Assassin could bypass HF other than WF with enhancements.
    I mean we are master's of the pigsticker so we can stick that pig where ever we want right.

    Can you elaborate on your comment about offhand procs? Why wont you get the Lightning Strike or Blind procs from your offhand? Do you still get the Holy/Lightning Burst or Flaming/Good Burst effects?

    The reason is, the best a rouge could hope for with full TWF feats is 80% off hand proc rate with the new system. And based on feedback I've read so far, that 20% seems to be alot bigger then it is (hardly any off hand proc's).

    So if you have a Radiance in your Off hand, it its only going to hit a supposive 80% of the time, your reducing its effectiveness greatly. Where as stuff like Vertigo, Weighted (Stunning), Seeker, ect., is a static effect that would be applied to both weapons so you would benefit more from your off hand without needing to worry about it actually proc-ing and hitting

    Ok, that makes sense. I was just concerned about the use of the word "NEVER" rather than 20% less (theoretically).
