I would still love for someone to explain to me, how Dungeon Alert lowers the lag in instances, cause honestly I don't see it. If any, I feel it increases the lag, having to take and apply the flags raised by dungeon alert on your char and mobs.
I do think THAT if the staff at turbine, where more of a player base, than just a job base, maybe they could see how difficult it is for players to deal with changes. All I'm saying it's kinda hard to know how difficult something is, when you just edit your char and put in any stats you want, or any items you desire; How much grinding does a person do to get a 3 tier greensteel weapon? A game developer can get one in 1 minute, some of us have to grin and run quests for weeks to do it.
Like I said, I can see how people are hurt and angry about this, and I do wonder how difficult it would be for Turbine as a company to say for example give Greater Reincarnation to each character level 15+ per account? You know as a way to show players they "care". Make them bound to character, can't be traded, moved, only used on the respective character. Now if this implies that Turbine will loose so much money for doing such a thing well that at least shows the significance and actual value of players to the company. Turbine wouldn't loose revenue doing this, in fact if they can keep actual players from leaving the game, that'll be 1 or 2 more months of revenue and foster some good will towards the player population. By the way, to everyone who is going to rant that my idea is ridiculous, they don't need it, etc. Let me argue this before hand, like people have already stated, it's all code. They are not loosing anything except some time doing it, will it benefit every player/character? Maybe, maybe not. If you don't need it, bank it, or throw it away. I really don't care what you do with it, just because you get something doesn't mean you need to use it. To those that will argue that by doing that, Turbine will loose revenue, or income, let me state this before hand, keeping the player population thriving, and happy and if it avoids even if it's only a handful of players for staying a couple more months, well then that is added income one way or another.
