I haven't tested the "works on multiple targets" part, but it will indeed blind things near you when cast.

Played with it a bit more.
When cast, it will buff yourself, nearby allies, and blind nearby enemies. it still doesn't grant Spell Resistance against spells cast by evil foes. The blindness is not discriminant against alignment, thus I can do things like so:

One question, the blinding effect doesnt has a st right?
i think my intimicleric will like that esp as it doesnt care about aligment
intimidate all mobs, quicken holy aura, BAM all blind -> 50% misschance
like that really

Nope, no spell resistance check currently. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to show a blinded flesh golem.Originally Posted by Gercho

In its current state it is. Although, part of that is because it works on any target, and part of that is because it lacks the fortitude save it should have.Originally Posted by Gercho

Was the large saving throw bonus removed?
Its still intact and as large as it ever was.Originally Posted by Angelus_dead

smells like they will nerf it down a little. But still, nice change.

Various tests reveal some interesting fact, so far:
(1) It doesn't change the fact that the specific type of resistance still function as pre update (i.e. stack with everything but protection from X)
(2) Holy Aura affect ally now, include the specific resistance type ( I can foresee ppl yeild their cleric/fvs bring that spell on raid )
(3) Holy Aura (blind) have the same duration as buff itself
(4) Holy Aura (blind) can't be remove unless (A) the timer expired or (B) the victim dead. Both Heal and Break Enhancement won't remove it.
(5) Looks like Holy Aura (blind) have no saving throw (or the CR 13 kobold simply have not enough saving throw against my spell) against the spell, either initial or mid-debuff.
(6) Sneak attack apply for those victim of Holy Aura (blind)
(7) I fail to find the maximum targets could be affected by a single holy aura, so I would assume there is no such limit exist. ( 18+ blinded kobold hopping around make the counting really difficult, you know.
(8) Holy Aura (blind) doesn't works like "blind target when you getting hit" as some might assume (as per PnP rule: causing evil creatures to become blinded when they strike the subjects.). The blind part behaves like a single one-off AoE spell and it will affact anything close enough.
(9) [edit] Greater Dispell do remove holy aura (blind), but not panacea. Havn't tried Unyielding Sovereignty yet (probably do it tomorrow if I still remember it )

I want blind when hit, cant be hard to impelment the spell as it is in PnP, come one they already have radience guards in the game allready, just up the chance from 15% to 100% on this spell, now that would be a awesome spell, dont like this when cast stuff to blind, gimme PnP spell =)
