Hey dev team

was wondering ... you know how crits come up in bold print so we know when we are getting a crit number vs a regular damage number ...

well i was wondering how hard it would be to do the same thing for smite numbers

Not bold versions so we get them confused with crits but maybe in bold and different colour so its easy to pick out from the stream of numbers on my screen ... and perhaps have it displayed as a different number on our combat chat so we can see difference between our physical damage and new smite damage for instance

if non smite standard looks like
32+ 4 shock +15 holy burst + 8 bane

the new with smite would look like
32 + 82 smite + 4 shock +15 holy burst +8 bane

this would make it easier to figure out the worth of the smite ability and help with damage calculations on the player side ...

this could be a crutial step in allowing monks to decide between light shintao and dark ninja spy.

same for double strike ... it would be nice if there was some visual way to tell ... maybe bold out the entire strike line for double strike and put a line in combat text saying double strike ...

maybe the combat text is there but i couldnt see it or maybe i have something turned off that prevents me from seeing it but it would be nice if it was visible in the floating numbers so you could compare .. this also might allow players to see how frequent it goes off and minimize some of the dps nerf hate that has been spreading around the forums and in game ... (yesterday after lama live we had several guildies quit the game but if the difference isnt that bad and it is visibly not that bad it might be a way to keep people from taking the drastic root of leaving the game)
