what happens if I took my 20 level fighter and over a period of a month or two slowly +5/+2'd him into a 12 barb/8fighter and then did a TR down the road?
will I get past life fighter or barb?
Will it count as a barb or fighter towards my completionist (should I ever attempt it)

If you're a barb 12/fig 8, no matter how you became it, you'll have the barbarian past life.
I think you'll be considered a barbarian for completion purposes, but I don't have solid proof
