Also, I completed a little overview of the Guild Renown. Based on my experience and experiments.

And were most of you a significant level higher than Butcher's Path?

I'm not asking to make it look like you did easy quests way over level to get more renown quicker, more to highlight the reason I think lower level quests should have a lesser renown drop rate.

Although I'm sure you already know this, I'll say it anyway, Get a large collectibles bag and set it to auto gather, it's not all that bad.

I agree it does kind of suck to have to collect them all, but if you think about it, it makes a little sense, since the guilds that kill more things, and therefore run more quests, will gain renown faster.

Oh yes, most of us were over 13 or so. And if some low level guy wanted to join us and help us earn some renown - we didn't turn him away - if we had room we took everyone who wanted with us.

But mainly i burn them away with a fireball+firewall and the room is clean.

So would you agree that because the renown could conceivably be close to the same for say, Normal Butcher's and Elite Bastion, that it seems it would just be a high level toon grinding low level quests marathon?

That doesn't sound like the type of fun that the guild renown system should or could be to me.

Again, I'm merely looking for feedback so we as a community can try to get Turbine to make this system something like what we have all asked for and wanted to see for a long time.

I think there should be other ways to get guild reknown. Completing raids/quests and guild total favor. Picking up collectible bags is just boring.

as far as we've played in ddo-daily yes. it is much easier to grind low level quests and no apparent difference from difficulty.

That's saddening, I was hoping it would be kind of like favor, getting so much for certain quests. Perhaps getting more when multiple players from a guild are in a party together.

Apparently Epic dungeon tokens don't spawn for everyone anymore

And different ppl get differnet things out of the treasure bag so some can get guild renoun, but others not. Personally this is another case of something not making any sense in a D&D game... how do you get well known for looting bodies? Should you get well known for your DEEDS? (raid completions, quest completions, even explorer/rare completions)

In all the quests we've done so far, everyone that looted the bag that had renown, got renown. So if a bag had 50 renown, and we had 6 people, we got 300 renown.
