So, after figuring out what to do to get renown (so far all i have seen is from treasure bags off dead enemies), I wanted to test some things.
I had a few guildies run a normal kobold assault and I ran an elite coal chamber (btw I LOVE the change you guys made to that quest, SOOOOOOO COOOOOOL).
In kobold assault, they got 200 (in 50 renown increments) renown each for a total of 400.
In coal chamber I got 300 renown (3 50 renown increments and 1 150 renown increment)
Now, I understand you don't want the renown to be too easy to get. So might I suggest dropping the renown you can get from lower level quests to something more like 5-20 renown for each treasure bag that has renown in it?
Otherwise the entire system is borked. You could have a guild of brand new players hit guild level 100 before a guild of people that run elite and epic raids on a daily basis. To me it doesn't seem right, but maybe thats the power gamer in me.
It is a cool system though.
