Well... He's actually not kidding. So far, I've found that to be the largest pull in of Renown. Of course, I haven't tried very much yet... One solo run of Kobold Assault granted 200 Renown.

One Duo run of redwillow granted 400, my solo Kobold assault granted 100.

in under 40 min we got to lvl 4 in renown. Tis pretty sweet.

mix lvl's between 13 - 20. haven't tried it with lower lvl characters yet.

Did you pick up the treasure bags?

I picked up all the bags running it solo on hard and only got 50

try running it with a bunch of guildies. you may only get 150 renown yourself but now times that by 6 people. It adds up.

Are renown really bags? If so I'm a little less enthused about the mod then I was 5 minutes ago.

well, after doing this on elite, it seems that the renown is tied to picking up those treasure bags. I picked up 4 in a row that gave me 50 a piece. Then I picked up 8 or 9 without getting any...seems like a dice roll to me.

Not for long, once the dev's hear about it they'll finally nerf it. Rumil will cry havoc, i can't wait.

I saw one 50 renown in Kobold's New Ringleader from a rare chest. Didn't have anyone there with me though, so I don't know if they would have picked up any.

There's some talk about higher level areas and quests giving a greater amount of renown, but didn't test that.

I'm curious if things like raids will give greater amounts. Like a guaranteed amount of 150. So with a guild raid of 12 people, it could add up really quickly.

So if your guild is nearly empty and you're the only regular, it doesn't add up and it does nothing for making your guild more attractive while recruiting, but rewards the heck out of guilds that happen to have a lot of active players and nothing else like good players, nice players, etc. In essence, a guild of fifty exploiters would get more out of this system than a guild of six honest people. It's pure numbers.
