    Default Wednesday is RP Night

So I've recently introduced a few new players to DDO. Due to growing up and RL movements, they don't get to rp anymore or play pen n paper at all. Some got fed up with bogus GM's and in-house plotting, so what I'm doing is setting up an evening each week to get them their fix.

It will start every wednesday evening (for me ) at 12:00 (GMT -5).
It will be a way for players to experience DDO, take their time getting a feel for the game and learning how everything works. New players are very welcome but please take note it is a roleplay event. Another important note is that we will be doing P2P content as there are some outstanding quests in them that deserve attention. Levelling may be slow, but we're here to have fun at a comfortable pace, so some things may be done quickly and others done slowly.

Only party players are welcome as it's fun for everyone and having people do their own thing is spoiling the experience for others There's no race or class restrictions. Currently it's lvl 4-6 but I have no issue accepting lvl 3 if you are done with the tutorial and you're accessing sunnsyside Korthos.

Hit up Kanine at the time as I won't be LFM'ing it. Ask what we have planned and if you're in the level range. This is to help some of my rl friends learn the game, get used to the mechanics and get some roleplaying in so if you have never roleplayed before and want some help in learning things then still apply. Just expect to be speaking in character

I hope to see you ingame

Just a thought and an fyi. Thursday evenings is what has become known as Thelanis Thursdays, where often people from the roleplaying community will gather and practice a little roleplaying. Generally speaking, it's geared more towards the interactive story-telling (ie: in the Phoenix Tavern) than questing, but it's certainly not verboten to gather a party and crawl a dungeon in-character. If you are planning on being an ad-hoc GM, though, you may encounter some resistance.

This is happening whether the server partakes or not. I have enough people already to do it but it's out there in case any new players feel like coming along to learn with the people I am taking around. The roleplay theme is so that the can learn to do it in DDO instead of scrounging for modules.

If you read what I said you'll notice I am saying brand spanking new players I have introduced to DDO. Thursday evenings are for old players and the like, it does not involve many lessons.
Thanks for the input but I feel you have misinterpretted the idea

I am doing it, we will be running around stormreach. This post is for any other players who are around who want to join and have some fun or be introduced to some things. The only static people in the group are my personal friends. This day is based on our rl situations and non negotiable. Plus if you take a look carefully at the time I put forward, it's not a US evening. It's a US noon. I am not awake for Thursday night roleplaying.

I am not awake for Thursday night roleplaying.
No conceptions from me coming or going, was just offering information that I thought pertained to the OP.

    Happy hunting.

You silly goose SA time is South Africa which is in GMT+2 at this time (one hour ahead of UK who are GMT+1).
1200 at GMT-5 would be 7 hours behind SA - so 1900 for Raz.

Just look at timeanddate.com it's easy

Oh don't take me the wrong way. I welcome information like that since people who can't make my time slot can make the Thursday night maybe

Do I owe you money? Or scales?

Oh and don't forget to add daylight savings for the UK when it's in effect That always messes me up....the amount of times I've given guildies hell when they were on time but I was an hour early

Why can't the UK be normal and switch to the metric system and keep thier clocks the same all year round

Well we have daylight savings the same time as central europe so it's not just us in the UK

Metric system? No thanks, then we'd have to call quarterpounders - royale with cheese
