Wraps pricecheck, please:

I've recently pulled:

min lvl 20 +1 Seeker 10, Weighted 5% wraps.

I was wondering what the market was like for them. Any idea what these are worth, folks?

I would trade these for two(2) Greensteel rapier blanks and two(2) Large devil scales.

Nice, but seeker isn't that great on wraps since they only crit on a 20 (19-20 with Improved Crit: Bludgeon) and only crit for 2x... (So 2 of out 20 hits, you get an extra 20 damage)... That basically averages to 2 extra points of damage per hit...


So about the same as +3 Weighted 5%...

I would've thought dark monks would really like them for the confirmation help on Fists of Darkness. That's 1d50 right there, well, on a vorpal strike...

These wouldn't help the burst rings from ToD, would they?

Fixer: Those are actually kind of decent handwraps. I would suspect you could sell them for a few coins.

Thurdh: It may appear that it only works out to a few extra dmg per hit, but weighted wraps help create stunning blows / stunning fists hence the seeker +10 will come into account more often.

Too bad the iceyburst alter isn't around, that would help. imo, those have value much better than its base.

keep in mind that while you wont crit often with handwraps, when weighted kicks in(which happends quite often) you crit on EVERY attack and all of em get damage bonus from seeker, so unless you have other seeker item equipped, those wraps look pretty cool to me, what else would you want on your weighted weapon?

oh and the prices is very subjective matter i personally wouldnt pay over 300k for those, i dont need such weapons that bad to invest millions on em

I'm the one who pulled the exact same pair on Khyber and every person who had a monk was drooling. For Epic content, these are about THE best handwraps you can get.. It's not about critting on a 19-20 it's about when things are held or stunned, as they always are in Epic content...+ 20 damage per swing.. schwing! These are an amazing pull, so don't let people fool you into thinking they're not... of course that is unless no one runs Epic on Thelanis.

There was a well-known monk on Sarlona looking for those exact wraps, and willing to pay a bucket load.

They are undeniably cool, since weighted seems to proc a lot that seeker 10 adds lots of damage. Especially if you've got some dual burst ToD rings.

As we said when you pulled em, they are an awesome pair of wraps for epic. I think Arch almost wet himself a little thinking of those on his monkster.

Don't get your hopes too high-with the upcoming nerf, they will be capped at 3% stun and get a less than impressive save.
So go for a quick deal, while those ppl that don't frequent the Lammania forums still think they are uber

Frome the Lam. release notes:

"Stunning Handwraps now affect both Stunning Fist and Stunning Blow.

Stunning weapons of all pluses now have a 3% chance to trigger, and have DC's that vary based on the Stunning plus of the weapon. (Fort DC 25/27/29/31/33) "

These will still be a very viable choice of the choices we're given.

Players will still be stunning mobs it's just one of the best ways to get the job done imho.

On initial glance I went SHWING!

But really...I think I'd rather have +5 Weighted 5% for Epic, and live with the meager +6 Seeker from my Bloodstone. Gotta hit 'em to Stun 'em. It's more damage on regular hits, higher attack, the same damage on crits (+4 higher enhancement plus +6 Seeker = +10)--but of course you gotta wear the Bloodstone and not LotD or some other trinket.
