My guild AVATAR is the original one from Xoriat. If you run into anyone from a guild with the word "The" in front of it, be assured it's not us.

Apparently, these individuals are running around and griefing people. If you run into them, please forward their names to me if possible. Also, report them as much as you like...

Good story about one of those guys; we took one of them into group for an epic OOB (unknown pugger who got the benefit of the doubt) and the guy proceeds to go running all over the desert explorer area hitting chests while people are in the quest. The fellow decided his +4 Fullplate was more important than doing what the party leader asked. After he made it into the quest (halfway finished by this time) he died almost immediately upon dropping down and then proceeds to ask for a rez repeatedly.

Anyway, I think my party was griefed by having to spend an extra 2 minutes in the quest due to 5 manning it (more DPS speeds things up). In addition, we couldn't kick him from group because he was in the area and couldn't bring in a buddy for a pike token and shot at the end chest spectral gloves shard either. After we got out our guildy made a comment to the effect of "Those AVATAR guys were pretty good when leveling a lowbie, what was the deal with that toolbag?" I corrected him by stating that this person was from a similar looking guild and that it is along the same lines as being Legion or Tactical Legion; similiar looking tag that might be confusing to some.

thanks for the post cercive...when these clowns were brought to my attention, that was exactly the kind of thing I was afraid of. We've never tried to make a name for ourselves one way or the other and definately dont want others with a similar guild name making one for us.
