    this is my plan for for a good solo char which has good dps, I'm vip but no 32 point builds ( which is why I when drow) how can I improve it please?

    if you don't invest full into disable device and search you can aswell don't skill it at all. and if you don't have search and spot you don't need the enhancements.
    few skillpoints are kind of a downside for fighters.
    drow don't have too many synergies with the brute classes anyway (except for paladins maybe).

    You can get most traps done with barely any points into disable, as the focus is DPS traps are on the side anyway.



    Drop elven perception and keen eyes and pick up some more Fighter strength and sneak attack enhancements.

    Lvl 18 feats are useless, swap for quickdraw and another toughness feat.

    Change FE: construct to FE: Evil outsider

    You can open most locks with 1 rank in open lock, the same is not true for disable device.

    I personally think you would be happier with Human and taking Khopesh.

    Also I would look into the "Monster" build. It has what you are after...just laid out really nicely for you.

    stop spreading misinformation. as a lvl 12 rogue you need full ranks in search + 13 search gear to find the traps in maze of madness elite (just an example). on lvl 15 (lvl apropriate for that quest) you can be 3 points behind maximum (without enhancements). you wanna do traps? go full ranks or leave it be. simple as that.

    I've changed the AP's and a few feats around, and I've put full ranks I can in search, DD and OL so if this isn't enough i can't make it much higher. I went drow because no 32 point builds and I like them.

    i really would not put points into hide and move silently (unless its a roleplay/flavour build).
    its save to leave open lock at around 8 points (with gear you will be able to open every important lock ingame).
    you should have full disable and search. if you are new it does not hurt to have a high spot score aswell.
    you should invest 1 rank into tumble just to enable it.
    balance can be quite important
    same goes for umd.

    if you plan to solo lots you should really thing about investing into umd.

    great fortitude and power critical are questionable feats.
    quickdraw is always a good choice for fighters and i'd rather take a 2nd toughness instead either of the 2 beforementioned

    else its a pretty solid build.

    i agree with the posts above. put all into disable to max it out or leave it alone. I do not have any points into disable/open locks for I am just using the Rogue for evasion purposes. Long story short, I didn't make my build correct and when i went to get a level of Monk for evasion, i saw that i left the alignment True Nuetral and therefore no monk. I am using the Rogue but leaving the ranks alone. I might lesser Reincarnate and if I do, I will max out these to be efficient. As for UMD, Max it out or leave it alone. Up to you. I love UMD for later times in the game. It's a personal preference.

    As for the build in drow. Eat some tomes (if you find em) and whala you should have a pretty solid build. Numbers look good for drow. With the CONST being 14, gonna need a lot of toughness for you will hit like a truck but take some damage too.

    so I should stop putting ranks in OL when I hit fighter and put it ALL in DD ( with spares in search?) right?

    with thieves tools +5 this would seem to be a better option. Plus you can gear up to get the desired numbers to open locks/disable device. Should work out for you better if you do this option. Just my opinion.
