One was "no noobs", another was "need hard/elite opener", third thing was, needed rogue or pally. As i have maxed rogue skills, i applied for the job. I got declined. When i asked why, the response was, "yeah as if you will be able to do the traps with one lvl of rogue".

Now i refer back to the comment "no noobs". Unless the game has changed drastically, you can open quests on hard right off the bat, been that way for a couple of years. Additionally the comment about not being able to do the traps purely because of 1 lvl of rogue. My 1 lvl of rogue has the same trapsmithing abilities as a full class lvl 5 rogue.

I reached the conclusion that the party leader shouldve excluded themselves from the group as they didnt want any noobs.

Is this the current state of the game, that people cant think beyond the standard classes, or that they lack the social skills to ask, rather than just blanket decline.

When i have applied for groups with my fighter/ranger/rogue i have been asked if i can do the rogue stuff, to which i usually either reply "yes" and explain my abilities, or if im being a bit sarcastic, i will ask them if they can do what their class is supposed to, this often meets with a laugh and acceptance into the group.

Whilst i realise that a lot of classes MC with rogue or monk for evasion and dont take rogue skills, i have also come across a lot of full class rogues that dont take the basics, proclaimining to be "combat" rogues.

To cap it off, they proceeded to take into their group a lvl 8 wiz/rogue and you guessed it, 1 lvl of rogue.
Id have taken the wiz rogue as well esp if it was wf. Sorry but fw, haste, self heals, and rogue skills cool Im there. Im sorry but that build offers a bit more than a lvl5 barb ftr rogue. Just how I see it.
Toons are in a constant state of flux. Khyber server.
