This would be great, even if it was limited to some sort of grease based trap. Might be the only way to get a good DC on that stuff since Heighten won't work with the spell

I love casting greese on my party in order to test the character of its members.

When someone gets ****ed its only proof that their tight ass needed some lube!

I have grease on my spell list as well, but even i am smart enough to realize it is a sometimes spell, it is not a every 3 seconds spell. If your Soloing & you need to escape a group of monsters that outclass you, sure its a good choice. However when your entire party is fighting a boss & a group of other monsters DON'T FRAKING CAST IT! If you are entering an area known for clusters of bad guys & you have a melee based group do not cast it. If you have summon monster prepared, understand that Steel Defender is not an everyday summon. Steel Defenders is once again for solo or stealth missions when you need to escape or a distraction.

When you let it loose in an area where everyone else is fighting you have a great chance of taking down your own side then the other side. Which is bad for you, becuase when we get trashed because we are lying on the floor we have to waste precious SP getting back up to full health because we were dying on the floor, or as with todays little fiasco a FREAKING TPK!

And if someone tells you to stop casting FRACKING GREASE! LISTEN TO THEM!

    That is all

I don't disagree that Grease can be a down right funny spell. Put it right next to a trap and watch as you kill your own side (hours of fun as they add you to there ignore list). But the third time the entire group has had to start the entire dungeon run again due to TPK because of a single player casting grease & killing the party (oh look a trap everyone is trying to avoid "/cast grease" LOL), it stops being funny. It starts to be a major league drain on resources.

Then to have a completely different player in a completely different dungeon cause a TPK due to continually summoning Steel Guardians in a place with overly stable bad guys in large numbers & restricted manueverability i think i finally snapped. I hate Grease Monkeys (any person who does not realize grease is a sometimes spell)

Lol.. this is even funnier if it has happened 3 times, because as soon as said offender recalled, "*ding* Said offender has been dismissed from your party"...

If you left him in party, well, shame on you...

    Default The way it is

Man, if that frustrates you, then you wouldn't have survived in the early days.

Beware of when a giant warforged bends over to "tie his shoes" and the Tinted Faces mascot appears.

Pith , 50% of the time when I get invited to a group with out searching the LFM , 75% of my SP gets used on a combo of Grease and Greater Dispell. Because what is the point of casting grease when you are immune to my party buff! Oh I make sure if I'm doing it, I know that if it truly turns horrable I can still recover them. But its still so fun to do!

And it isn't that grease isn't hightenable. The DC of the spell is outright BROKEN, kinda like how implosion was for FVS.

If you happen to be the last pug in a shroud group filled by a channel of pranksters, feel free to get angry when asked to Teleport out of shroud part 2, or start seeing grease and Sleet storm on the portals...Etc.

Until then, like Blah said: Not the boss of me.
I know recall in the shroud after someone was instruction a newbie and they clicked the alter after I had hit the d-door.

I once did click on someone's teleport offer and went to the wrong area at the end of a DQ.

The ability to cast FoM is a good thing.
