Seriously...why?

DDO is like a Porsche. It is not designed for the masses of idiots. It is designed for a more "mature" audience. It's game play has many fine points to it. But Porsche...since it is made for "higher tier drivers"...it is outsold by many other car manufacturers. Porsche cars like DDO; are extremely fun, but can be unforgiving. I am speaking from experience...a Mid-engine rear-wheel drive car such as the Boxster can spin out if you make a mistake. But its that feeling of accomplishment that comes along with drving a nice car and challenging your abilities is what makes Porsche/DDO special. TBH not everyone can play and suceed in DDO. DDO is the only MMO I have played that you have to have a game plan when building a new character. There is no "easy button" to undo screw-ups. That is something I actually like.

WoW is like Ford. It is designed for pretty much everyone, but anyone who is more adept or wants a challenge will get bored with it. Ford/WoW are fine products in there own right...just not my cup of tea.

You see, Ford/WoW caters to everyone. You have the Taurus, Mini-van, Compacts, Sub-Compacts and Trucks/SUVs and of course the Mustang. The only thing is not all the research and developement go into just one thing. Ford spreads its money and developement around so everything kinda suffers a little bit. WoW has PVE and PVP and etc...

By DDO focusing on JUST PVE and ignoring PVP...we get the best PVE experience out there.

So in conclusion...if you want PVP...buy your Mini-van or sub-compact or truck (nothing wrong with that), and play WoW.

Me? I will stick with my Porsche pure Sports Car and DDO.

And maybe...just maybe...we will quit having these stupid DDO vs WoW threads.

WoW is not bad...its just not similar to DDO. These should not be compared.
