Warforged Bards and repair spells

Shouldn't WF Bards get repair spells instead of heal spells? It just seems logical. It seems like they are kind of discouraging the build.

I want to TR my current human bard into a WF Warchanter/Barbarian but the only thing holding me back is this obvious flaw.

As far as the 3.5 "rules" are concerned it would in fact be up to the DM as to weather or not your WF bard could use repair spells instead of heals or not.

The last part is true only if your DM is a bad one. You might also say, shouldn't a WF cleric get repair instead of heal? And a human wizard should get heal instead of repair right?

A bard can quickly gain enough UMD to repair themselves with wands and scrolls if they wish.
