    Default Why Swapping Adamantine Body?

Hi, first of all, I'm spanish, so sorry for my english mistakes

I see everywhere in WF builds or guides that is better to swap the Adamantine Body after Lvl 10 or so. My questionis; Why if you have Dex 15?

EDIT: I'm playing a Favored Soul, by the way xD

if you have a dex of 15, and you put on a +6 or +5 item then your dex is higher then the bonus allows, but mainly it is because they don't want to try for a decent armor class so they drop it in favor of the light so they don't suffer the heavy skill penaltie.

    hope that helps.

At low level, it's easy to achieve a meaningful AC and Adamantine Body helps. Later on, things become harder and Adamantine Body becomes less effective; thus, by lvl 10, feat-starved builds usually drop that feat.
On Thelanis: Hallelujah (EK wraith) - Jerryrigged Juggernaut (Fiend Warlock) - Sepulchral (Druid) - Chopchopchop (Monk) - Alleyshadow (retired gimped monkcher). Formerly on Keeper : Misericordia (Thug) - Mumbo Jumbo (Battle Caster) - Infernal Can (WF Kinda Cleric) - Halleluyah (Melee Spellsinger).

    Exactly.

So on the FvS unless you plan to seriously grind for AC gear, there is no point in the Addi body. That feat will be much more useful for metamagics for most people.

its best not to take in the first place and save your self the expense of swaping a feat better used elsewhere.

Actually, I would say that a pure Favored Soul is one of the better choices for taking Adamantine Body. Not for the AC, that won't matter past level 10, but the Favored Soul DR stacks with Adamantine Body.

Maybe you are right for a new player. But for anyone who has been playing for a while we have a stack of sib shards doing nothing and the cash is minimal. Its well worth it for the AC at low level.

That's a good point. If you are melee focussed I'd agree with that. If you are caster/healer focussed I'm not sure its worth it.
