What are your top three quests?
Can you solo them? (On Elite? At what level?)
Why are they your favorite?
If Turbine asked you to design a follow-up quest to one of your top three... which would you do and what would it be like?

And yes I can solo them...minus shroud
Although there are a lot cool quests no one runs ever Pit is cool in concept, one of the new sentinal ones is pretty cool.

Crucible (Think a good follow up quest would be where the 4 end bosses want revenge for making them look bad by killing all of them)
Shroud (Think the follow up quests they did involving Shroud are fine)
Tear of Dhakan (A higher level version of this for 15-20ish characters would be cool)
Knorgh (triple triple completionist) Currently 12 Wizard/6 Ranger/2 Monk
Chain of Flames (good follow up revenge of the slaves, help slave raiders rid the desert of the gnoll menace once and for all) And yes I have soloed this quest its fun for me specially on my assassin. And im still the only one in my guild that enjoy epic chain of flames lol.
Tear of Dhakaan for a lowbie quest this one is always been a favorite of mine when I soloed my bard rogue threw it I knew it was definitely one of my favorites its long and can be rough if you dont know it but man its a blast once you beat it especially solo.
my number three pick isnt because its fun or nothing its just the only amrath quest I can solo and go make a sandwhich or grab a beer while doing
Weapons shipment. When im bored I'll go in there with Nyxy guaranteed to finish it by myself can solo it on hard (elite with a cleric hireling) and have seen 6 baubles drop in there for her so now people bring her in there for luck lol. Its just a simple quest that you can go afk in and if anyone knows my crazy life its perfect for me

No I can't solo them because I'm a rogue.
I've always loved running Xorian Cipher. Outside of that one, they're all on equal footing.

I enjoyed stk and catacombs but my top 3
Pop
Shroud (minus lag)
VoD
Gianthold TOR- just have always like this quest for the teamwork aspect
Shroud- one of the few raids I can be talked into easily
Chain of Flames-has always been a fave of mine and I have soloed this one.

One of my favorites: Running with the Devils.
My Sor16 has been farming it for XP like crazy, and has been taking between 8 and 11 minutes per solo run (occasionally requiring one mana potion when the crit firewalls refuse to happen for a while on the rednamed eladrin).
The quest is just downright brutal on Elite, yet still very beatable (even way underlevel) with tactics and clever play.
Next favorite: A New Invasion. The end fight is awesome.
Third: (Epic difficulty) Offering of Blood.
I don't have a zerging problem.
I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.
TOD reason: 4 tomes loot
epic DQ reason: still 4 tomes loot
epic VON reason: 4 tomes loot always
Proud Leader of The OriEnTal StYle
New cleric toon:Turnundead
Von 5 - Nostalgia and story
Shroud - Yes, we have all run it a million times...but I am a sucker for story line
Delirium - New and quirky. Just like this quest for some reason.
“No Battle Plan Survives Contact With the Enemy”
Well I guess I should post my top three as well.
- Waterworks
- Stormcleave
- Feast or Famine
Its hard to pick my top 3. Waterworks is my fav as I when I began this game it was just some of the best content they had. You also could get misery's web which had 3 charges of web. (Great for a rogue or fighter etc... It was a trinket)
The other gear wasn't bad either... the staff of melfs etc etc... lots of useful things and a fun quest. Its a DDO classic even in it's current changed and nerfed form it is still a lot of fun.
If I were to do a follow up it would probably focus around Eechik. He is a guaranteed surviver and perhaps he escaped and became addled with madness over getting revenge against Arlos or who he remembers as Errlos or Orla. Hee hee.
Stormcleave. Another classic. I remember soloing this level 8 quest at level 5 with a repeater rogue and back in the day you couldn't fire while moving unless you had shot on the run and the level cap was like 11. (Or lower?)
Granted its a hard quest. The last fight solo as a repeater rogue was not a guaranteed win and level 6 or 7 or even 8 didn't really change that much. Its a pain. But the sense of accomplishment and the long arduous fight there was just awesome. Giants were huge! My favorite part though is the open spaces. Ranged characters don't have a lot going for them but wide open spaces with plenty of space to run around etc etc... its just fun.
Feast or Famine... The traps are random. The fake chest. Etc... Granted about 50% of the fake traps I have never seen actually go off.... The ambush... the end optional where the raiding party comes back just as you finished the quest. The archers using terrain like players would... Shooting from high ground etc....
They actually firewall you! (And even with the different color I still have to tell people thats not our firewall please stop standing in it) It forces people to think different. The zerger that runs ahead and gets killed by a trap. The healers that just wont die.
I am not sure what about this quest makes it so fun. But pulling a lever in that quest without a rogue on elite is some scary business. I think the real thing is random traps. They should randomize more and more of this game for repeatable content. But it should be random in a way that makes sense. I dont want to spawn into a quest and take 1000 acid damage because a random elite trap was placed at the beginning etc... But take gwylans stand.... Any vet can run that without a rogue. They may not get the extra chest but they know where every trap is and how to time it. (The hardest one may be the stairs.....) Wouldnt it be better if the traps were random in a way that made sense and perhaps even the bosses and locations of the crates you need to taint were random. I dunno I think at the very least the devs could create multiple versions of quests and when you spawn in you spawn into one of the multiple versions... even better would be random traps, random bosses and perhaps even random optional or required objectives.
Followups:
Waterworks I talked about. I would want the follow up to include goblins somehow and perhaps nilbogs... Nilbogs mixxed in with goblins could be cool in ddo as is. hee hee.
Stormcleave.... Would be hard to design an adequate followup. Perhaps Pious Grew'el had a brother who came to look for him and finding him dead launched a full scale attack on house D. You zone in to help. (Into house D) Giants running loose in house D with all the normal npcs trying to defend themselves could be fun. I guess you would end up fighting mostly giants with some minotaurs and trolls thrown in.... and if you are really lucky a few named ogres!
Feast or Famine I think could be set up with a few followups. There are a lot of hooks you could tie into. I think the followup quest could occur after you defeat the raiding party and zone out of the backside... instead of entering into Gianthold Slayer area you could instead enter the followup quest. Perhaps it still occurs in the Giant hold slayer area as well... that could make for a lot of fun and a VERY long quest.
When I say follow up though there could be a whole story players are not privy too or perhaps they learn as the go along. Lets try the beginning of WW followup:
The hook that gets the player in may not occur until Arlos is slaughtered or pehaps he takes a wife and Crazy Eechik kidnaps the wife to lure Arlos. I like this idea for a few reasons... I would LOVE to see goblins of all kinds in DDO. Goblins just rock. Mixxing Nilbogs with goblins in a standard quest would just be awesome and make for some new tactics. A level 7-10 raid quest featuring goblins and kobolds as a followup to Waterworks would just be insane fun. (I would also add an epic version to this particular raid as I would imagine it would be popular)Cheif Eechik's clan was destroyed but he was crafty enough to escape with his life. He managed to escape with a few coins, A spider egg from Misery and handful kobolds.
He had found an old village deep in the forest to rebuild his clan from. The spider egg hatched and he named the Spider Revenge. He raised it as his pet and it was the only other thing he would allow close to him. The name he chose for Misery's daughter was all that was on his mind. Things were tough for Eechik. Everyday he curses the day he met Erlos or Orlo or whatever his name is. He can't exactly remember the name but he remembers the sound and the odd way he has to curl his tongue to pronounce it.
His simple mind became addled with hatred and days would go by where he would simply mumble and growl. But his hatred drove him to train for his eventual mission. He would spar with Revenge practicing his hop until he could move incredible distances almost instantaneously. He practiced dodging web balls and avoiding the venomous bite of Revenge. He wasn't always successful but soon it didnt seem to matter. The poison no longer seemed to bother him and his skin became thickened with scars.
His mind was sick with hatred but when he spoke of his quest to rid the world of Errrrlos he became clear and lucid. One of the waterworks survivors was a shaman named Arhik. Arhik was as clever as they come and soon learned how to control Eechik. It was difficult to get through to the crazy leader and avoiding the spiders watchful and protective gaze was difficult but soon Eechik and Revenge began to trust Arhik. Arhik wanted revenge as much as Eechik but more then that Arhik wanted power and place to call his own to further his research in necromancy.
Before Arhik had joined Gnashtooth he had stumbled into what looked like an abandoned keep. He could hear the sounds of battle nearby and could see freshly slain undead all about him. He hid his presence with invisibility and continued to sneak forward and investigate. He came upon an odd scene.
Ghouls, Zombies and Skeletons had completely surrounded what looked like a goblin. The goblin was constantly being struck with swords and arrows and clubs but only seemed to grow stronger with each blow. This goblin like creature was wading through the undead with a bright glowing mace and a small shield with the mark of Clan Gnashtooth!
Soon the battle was over and Arhik stayed cowered behind a large tree. The goblin looked over at the tree and shouted, "Come out you pathetic creature, I mean you no harm." Arhik was shocked as he was still invisible and hiding but he figured it would be best to do what this odd creature commanded.
That was many years ago but he remembers it well. It turns out this creature was similar to a goblin but a bit different due to disease. He name was Vas'ul and was High guard of Gnashtooth. He served Big Cheif Nunaac. Together the two looted the keep and while Vas'ul looted weapons and armor Arhik was more concerned with trinkets, potions and spell scrolls.
Nunaac took Arhik back to Clan Gnashtooth and Arhik joined on as an equal with the goblins. Arhik's first assignment was to assist Cheif Eechik but by the time he got to waterworks the entire operation was in shambles.
Now that Arhik had some measure of control over Eechik he thought it best to seek out Vas'ul again and let him know what has happened. It turns out in the years past that much of the Clan is now made up of Goblins and Nilbogs. Kobolds still serve but only as slaves unless they can weave magic.
Vas'ul was furious at the results and wanted Eechik's head until Arhik convinced him that Eechik was now a battle hardened warrior and could be worth more alive rather then dead....
Notes: Eechik uses his spider as a mount. Some of the goblin warriors ride their worgs. (Where it makes sense...) Worgs fight along side goblins. Goblins are a bit tougher then kobolds but kobolds are still around.
I could probably type that story all night but I think you get the gist. Take some of the favorite storylines in DDO and expand upon them so they return. Make the adventure from 1 to 20 feel more connected.

Coal Chamber - solo yes - and dugeon master voice is funny
Weapons Shipment - solo yes - I hate this quest actually, but I usually go afk for 10-15mins(very good quest for piking)
Any Raid - solo no - mainly any raid where I can make fun of people
Proud Moment: Weapons Shipment I was getting all the kills on my Cleric and actually made Fighter drop group because of it
Englorious Basteurds - There the only ones who can put up with me.
i would have to say
1) bastion of power, because how many quests do you get to assault a castle in? its just bad ass
2) Invaders, i dont know why i just love the quest lol (though at low level running through WW i keep expecting beholders and renders to pop up lol)
3) Deliruim, because i like showing those floor tiles whos boss :P
*Sarlona server*
-Wraistlynn 20th TR wizard-
-Khellendros 20th Cleric-
-Malystrix- Monster build
1)Redwilllow's Ruins: The vast array of enemies and tactics that have to be used. Not to mention fake trapped chest.
2)Mindsunder: Nothing like dropping trough a skylight to get the drop on crazy cultist.
3)The Tide Turns: any quest where you get to blow up an airship is good by me. (Now if the bracer items will drop on Epic it will move to #1)
The Thread Killer...
Sarlona~ Gasolinia~Mozdef~Seagate~Delaa Soul~Freshley Snipes~FoxiiBrown~Kwestluv~Inspectah Deck~Seelow
1. VoN3
2. Chains
3. Ghola Fan/Slavers
All have a great PnP feel to them for me and enjoy them immensely.
1. The Shroud. I can't solo it. I like the story behind it and you gotta love Harry's dialogue in part 5. It's a fun quest and even better when you have a good, fun group with you.
2. The Church and the Cult. I have soloed this many times on most of my toons. It's a pretty easy solo, imo. I like this one because it was my first run in with a vampire. I didn't have the Necro the first time I ran this. He kicked our butts because we were not prepared so we all ran to the AH and got silver weapons to try again and got him the second time around.
3. Dreams of Insanity. This is another one that can be soloed, but it can be tough to. I like the look and feel of the quest. Plus the XP at level is very good too.
Main: Castagir (completionist), officer of the Fighting Clowns of Sarlona. Alts: Modric, Modrich, Kristna and others.
