    Default Bragging...

    lol...

Here's a question for ya... who here doesn't brag?

Yeah yeah, I know... "you all hate the guy who did this or that or has this etc etc" and has to let ya know, but I gotta ask...

    1. Do you have a bio that says "I killed Aratrikos or I healed for like 1 meelion, or I did this much damage?"
    2. Do you write on forums that you hate braggers?
    3. Do you write things like "I never brag?"

Well... funnily enough you are bragging

    So lighten up folkes...

If ya boink yer boss's wife... brag... if you've been the 1 millionth person to kill Aratrikos... write it down.. and when you beat the next newest raid 1st.. post it cuz hell... I'm curious to know if yer boss's wife is hawt.

It's all about the art of subtle bragging.

For example, I would never post in my bio or on the forums that I've got 1000+ raid completions, ungodly numbers of tier III crafted shroud items, thoroughly uberized characters, mad sexiness, etc., etc. Instead, I let people find out those things by seeing how crazy humble I am in game (I am probably the most humble person in DDO)--and yet so incredibly uber--that they look me up on my.ddo or otherwise further research me only to find out that I am the best there is.

So I get all of the incredible benefits of bragging (i.e., public realization that I am way, way better than them) without people thinking that I am anything other than a nice guy.

And that's just one thing that makes me better than you and everyone else

Hey...there is nothing wrong with feeling good about your achievements...in fact I don't even consider it bragging.

It's belittling other people while you do it that's bad.

As far as "bragging" about killing a raid boss.....in most cases that is just a$$inine....sorry, but in most cases if you would have been the only one DPS'ing the thing your party would have wiped

I try not to brag, really really hard. But, sometimes you have to. I like to brag about how awesome my Arcane Archer is, because I play her well and AA's always take a lot of flack. I have also recently had to brag about my new PC....no Shroud lag....AT ALL!! That is worthy of bragging, IMO.

    Cow:

Completely tears apart quests with incredible precision. Actively allows others to join. Stays pleasant and friendly even when others screw up. Unquestionably one of the best zergers in the game. And one of the few active top-game zergers without attitude.

    Humility score: 9.8

    Sock:

Coattails on Cow's runs getting all of the benefits without any of the labor.

Lots of uber things that I am too humble to post about here.

    Humility score: 9.995

    Winner: Sock

Close one though. Good try Cow. I don't want to take anything away from you--you are great. I'm just the bestimest.

I am the consumate humble person.

I am always gracious and kind to other toons who expound upon their own greatness.

I am patient with those who aspire to greatness.

I am the second most interesting man in the world.
