But anyway, Hokie, an item's value is based on needs. There are no set values for any of this kind of stuff. For instance, what is my fighter going to do with a Pearl of Power X? Worthless to me, would trade away for a variety of things. Good chance there's someone out there with a couple pairs of greaves and no bloodstones, where he may find the value of a bloodstone to far better suit his character rather than greaves. Not everybody is in the trading market for coin.

Not in this case. The drop rate on Bloodstones is far higher then greaves. Your hypothetical is extremely off base. So far off base, I would offer 2 bs for a pair of greaves.

My hypothetical is exactly that. Why are you griefing my WTT post? As I said, each item has a value of use to each character; its not all about coin, and if someone has a high value of useage of a bloodstone that he/she is looking for, and happens to have a low value of use for firestorm greaves when that person happened to loot them, well in this case the value of my bloodstone far exceeds the value of that person's FG's (from both perspectives it is a win-win).
